Falson and Associates Pty Ltd provides expert consultancy to individuals, companies and government in town planning, property use and development and assessment of environmental impacts thereof. The director, Glenn Falson, oversees all work personally with input from specialist sub-consultants as required. Glenn has over 25 years experience in urban and rural planning including senior positions in local government and as director of Falson and Associates since 1994. His work has included assessment and reporting on a wide range of development activities and matters pertaining to the use and value of land including residential, commercial, industrial, rural, mining, agricultural, subdivision, recreation and tourism proposals. In addition to assessment of development proposals, Glenn has prepared, or controlled, the preparation of many statutory and guideline documents including Local Environmental Plans, Development Control Plans, Developer Contribution Plans and general code documents. He has also considerable experience in policy formulation, both at the State and Local Government levels and has been active in membership of various committees, particularly related to rural and rural fringe development, urban development and housing strategies and the development application process within Local Government.

Glenn has considerable experience in the preparation of planning evidence reports for clients (individuals, developers, resident action groups and Councils) and regularly appears before the Land and Environment Court and Commissions of Inquiry to provide expert evidence in relation to a wide range of planning and development proposals, land valuation matters, and associated issues. He also appears as a NSW Government Court Appointed Expert in matters under appeal.
